I love a good outdoors wedding! Rachel and Adam came back home from Oz to get married on their home turf surrounded by their friends and family. Thankfully they brought just enough good weather with them to allow for a lovely outdoor ceremony on the lawn.

Rachel choose the spend her last night as single lady at the Sherwood Hideaway at Thoresby, a fab cabin getaway in north Notts. Rachel and her family had a lovely morning chilling out and getting ready and the surprise presents from Adam of Champagne and hibiscus went down a treat. Rachel’s wee niece was a real cutie pie and I love that I captured some really nice natural photographs of her with her mum and grandad.

The wedding and reception took place at the Pheasantry Brewery – home of some award-winning beers, and some big, beautiful spaces. It’s a really quirky, unusual venue, perfect for a couple who are looking for something a little bit different.

After some beers on the lawn everyone headed inside for some scrummy food. Their were some great speeches and some really funny moments. I think my favourite shots here are everyone’s faces when the lemon slices were whipped out for an unusual tradition of sucking a lemon during the speeches – zingy!

Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Francis – I had a lovely time shooting your special day.

Kudos to the lovely suppliers who helped to create a fantastic day for Rachel and Adam
