It was so amazing to be asked by my good friends Delia and David to photograph their wedding at the Waterside Hotel in Seamill, Ayrshire.
AYRSHIRE WATERSIDE WEDDING VENUE
This stunning venue,with panoramic views of the Isle of Arran, was the setting for both the intimate ceremony and a wild reception! I have visited the venue on many occasions but this was my first visit to the newly opened Kyle wedding suite which had glorious views of the Ayrshire coast and it’s own private wedding garden. The beachside location was the perfect setting for natural photography and captured the relaxed and intimate atmosphere they wanted for their ceremony. Delia and her bridesmaids had relaxing morning drinking champagne and getting their make up done at the Waterside whilst David got ready with at his family home just 5 minutes from the venue. Their ceremony was small and intimate and celebrated their love of music, the very talented Leigh Donnelley of Coast Entertainments had everyone is tears with her performance of Wings by Birdie.
RELAXED PHOTOGRAPHS
After the ceremony Delia and David had plenty of time to spend with their guests before a short stroll down the beach to capture some natural, unposed photographs of the newlyweds. Before re-joining their guests, Delia and David spent a couple of minutes watching the sunset from a cozy blanket on the beach.
EVENING WEDDING RECEPTION
Delia and David celebrated their loves of music by naming the tables after festival venues they love and their band ‘The Man from Delmonte‘ rocked the house and had everyone dancing for hours.
