If there’s one thing I love as a photographer, it’s people who are up for a laugh. This wedding was absolutely full of them – from Melissa and Nick, to their friends and family.

I’d had high hopes for this wedding ever since meeting Melissa and Nick in Clumber Park, where we ate ice cream and talked rubbish for a whole afternoon. I knew straight away they were a bit kooky and that we’d get on… and their Grand Budapest Hotel-themed wedding certainly didn’t disappoint. Anna from Anna’s Attic did a fantastic job of making Melissa and Nick’s Wez Anderson theme come to life.

The ceremony and reception took place at Hirst Priory – a 12th century, Grade II-listed estate set in acres of beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Melissa looked absolutely stunning – as you can see from these pictures – whilst Nick was very dashing in his sharp tweed suit. Well done, guys!

There are so many fantastic memories looking over the photographs. The chimney sweep that Nick had arranged was a great surprise as he serenaded the room and even got Nick involved too. Chim-chim-cheroo you two – What a great day!
