Congratulations to Ben and Jenna – the new Mr and Mrs Cummings!
I love an outdoor ceremony, and the light and layout of Middleton Lodge was just a joy to shoot. This summer was a bride and groom’s dream, and I love how relaxed everyone looks in the sunshine (it also helps when you’ve got a band as cool-looking as the Gypsies of Bohemia to set the tone).
This was a particularly well-dressed wedding. Jenna – well wowzer! – she looks amazing – her Jessica Bennett– bespoke designed dress was so beautifully simple and elegant, and she’d paired it with some knockout bright red Jimmy Choos. Ben looked equally just as dapper and striking in his Royal Blue Sand Suit. Jenna was walked down the isle by her dad Allan, who as a fellow Scot, represented our great country with the most impressive tartan trousers I’ve seen in a long time. Add to this, one or two wonderful beards, the world’s most photogenic nans… even Cooper the cocker spaniel looked great, in his own little bowtie!
A special mention too for the adorable kids – too cute! I love the photo of the cute little redhead reaching for a pint – reminds me of being little myself and reaching for the whiskey – I only wish I had a photo like this to treasure.
The whole day was just wonderful and I left Ben and Jenna boogieing the night away to their band Union Street with their awesome friends and family.
